YKK is a multinational Company and its group Head Office is in Tokyo, Japan. YKK affiliated worldwide 111 plants and offices in 72 countries.

1. Social Compliance Policy

In order to “Build trust, transparency and respect”, we, in YKK Pakistan, are committed to comply with all applicable local and international (conditional) laws, internal rules, regulations and policies to prevent reputational risk or damage to YKK Group under following guidelines:

  1. We respect basic human rights of our employees, customers, suppliers, contractors and any other people around us as guaranteed by the constitution of Pakistan.
  2. We will conduct our business striving for a safe and healthy working atmosphere.
  3. As an earth friendly organization, we promote "harmony with the environment".
  4. We will maintain the professional relationship with our business partners/ authorities.
  5. We prevent unauthorized outflow of our technology and information. Personnel data access will be given to very limited staff having legitimate business reasons. We are committed to maintain the product quality, compatible with NTS YKK Fastening Standard (YFS), and will maintain regulatory requirements by CPSIA (Consumer Product Safety Improvement Act) and REACH (Restriction, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemical). We create and maintain effective management system to implement and ensure above stated guidelines.
  6. We are committed to continuous improvement of labor working conditions in the supply chain.
  7. We will set SMART goals and objectives for Labor, Environment and Health and Safety.
  8. We will keep YKK Group legal department informed for any breach or non-compliance to above company policy.
